Alone on a mountain top, Bernard is a tortured old man who uses memorabilia items from his marriage to travel back to his past. Travelling with the memory of his deceased wife, he begins to struggle under the early stages of Alzheimer’s. When a stranded young boy turns up on his doorstep, Bernard loses the ability to see his wife and enlists the kid’s help in tracking down the item linking to her memory. Running out of time, the old man realises he may need to surrender his pride and follow the memory path of his long lost son, unveiling a darkness from which the kid desperately tries to escape from.
